Design Fee Breakdown (DFB)

The first document you will receive is the DFB. We will have a meeting to review it together.

The design process is broken into two phases, and you will sign a separate contract for each:

Build Estimate
​After you have decided on your design, we will provide a preliminary build estimate. This will help ensure that the design can maintain your budget once you build it.
Allowance Sheet
You will find allowances in your Build Estimate. These are items that do not have a fixed cost and can fluctuate in price. For example, fixtures and appliance pricing varies depending on what you choose.
